Oh that's gorgeous!!! I have a Miltonia spectabilis var. Morelliana x Miltonia Seminole Blood 'Jaguar Dawn' in bud and yours just makes me more anxious.
Does yours take a long time from initial spiking/budding to blooming? Mine is taking forever! It is in pretty high light and watered fairly decently.

Yes, it does take forever for the flowers to appear. Just continue with what you're doing. Your patience will be well rewarded. Post some pictures when the plant flowers.

I took the plant in for judging at the Aiea Orchid Club meeting on Monday, August 25, 2014. The plant was given a Certificate of Cultural Merit by the Honolulu Orchid Society judges. Here is the plant photographed from a different angle than that shown above. I removed the wire hanger so it would not detract from the flowers. There are still a few buds on the plant that have not yet opened. I removed 4 dried up flowers before taking the plant for judging.

One Year Later
The plant produced a lot more blooms this year although the flowers are smaller in size. The smaller flowers could be due to the hotter weather that we have been having in Hawaii. The plant is hung outside under 50% shade cloth. It is growing in a 10-inch square wooden basket with bark as the media.

So beautiful! Mine has just three (3!!) flowers, hopefully it will grow as tight and compact as yours. Do you think we could swap pollen around half the world? From one volcano to another?!
