This is Odontocidium (aka Colmanara) Wildcat 'Bobcat'. This is one of the darkest clones. Had it for three years and its bloomed three times. 17 flowers on this current spike.

Isn't this a great plant, Todd? I have one that grows like a weed, and blooms and blooms. Great growing!

Hi, I have a Colm. that looks very similar to your pic. Mine is labeled Wildcat Green Valley from the grower. I often wondered about the "Green Valley", seeing as it's such a deep maroon flower. This is the 3rd time it's flowered and it just keeps on getting bigger spikes.

Had a wildcat years ago ... only thing I didn't like about it was the "fragrance".

Nice! What's wrong with the odor Paul? Do they smell like the south-bound end of a north-bound cow? I know one of my bulbophyllums does. Oh man, the flies like that one !

It's hard for me to describe except to say it was a very "chemical" sort of odor. I found it quite unpleasant.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

I've got a pic of my 'Bobcat' (although the seller was claiming it was called 'Bloodshot') as my avatar. I love this weed
