another mexican orchid, this species does have a big flowers, and are absolutely beautiful plants to have, no idea how hard it is to find this species in the US or EU marketplaces.

It is lovely. You can actually find this amazing orchid in Europe but it does not bloom or very hard to get it blooming. I think this is why you can't see them in the orchid shows.
Couple of years ago , I saw its is alba form in a botanic in Scotland and I fell in live with it.

Not terribly common in US.

Cuitlauzina pulchella is far easier to find here.

One amazing orchid this. Fascinating in its own right, have not seen many around or even available, but am lucky enough to have one in my collection. Reliable bloomer and very forgiving aswell, I tend to neglect it quite a bit.
