Good looking psychopsis bud! You seem to have the cultural requirements correct. I myself have a clone of this variety with four spikes. It's been with me for about five years. I'm just a little disappointed about the flower size of these orchids. It's not the grand 6 inches that you mentioned before (more like 4). Anyways good luck on this one!

you are right, the alba is smaller than the regular Papilio....four spikes! that is awesome....

heh I have to chuckle some when I hear RARE orchid .I think we all have a few RARE orchids in our orchid collection. Unfortunately RARE to some means RARE-LY live very long.

I love the smaller flowers of the alba version and bec its yellow. I just love bright yeller flowers. They make everyone happy...

mine has 3 new pups off the old battered bulb with the twice broken spikes and hail beat leaves. Buds kept coming back then one day it didnt after the last one bloomed.

The bloom looks great Bud.

Default REBLOOM 12-10-2013

It gave me bigger, flatter and sharp vivid colors this time....the plant gave me two new growths that hopefully will spike for me once they mature. I also noticed the spike grew longer six inches more this time....
