Cut Tolumnia spike? Female
Default Cut Tolumnia spike?

Hi all, I just got my first ever Tolumnias today and they both came with spikes, but on one of them all of the flowers have fallen off already. I read somewhere that it's possible for them to rebloom from old spikes so should I leave it and wait, or cut it back?

Yes, they can bloom again on those spikes. If it blooms again, it will likely only be a few blooms at a time
But, there's no benefit to cutting it, so as long as it is alive, you might as well leave it.

Unless a plant is stressed or you want it to divert its energy to growing, I would leave them on until they dry up.
