I buy a lot of supplies from e-bay and have just purchased 12 2in netting pots for $4.49 including shipping. Not sure how that compares to your cost. But bear e-bay in mind for future comparison.
I am using them for hanging mounts, far easier than cork - and you can also nestle some sphag moss on the bottom for additional moisture. Once the roots grow through the netting, they are very stable. Also MUCH easier to hang/position !......and water

Repotme was $3.15 for 10 pots plus $10.52 for the shipping, so you got a LOT better deal!

$10.52 is ridiculous! Those pots are so light it shouldn't cost that much to ship. I just bought three Phals and the shipping was only $10! That's the lowest shipping I have ever paid when buying plants!

Here's my group of Tolumnia planted together. I should mention that when in bloom, this makes for an impressive site to behold!
And yes, that is a Tolumnia growing out of a wine bottle, modified for my specific use. Works like a charm.

If you have trouble with the small pots standing up, sit them in nursery trays cut down to the number holes you need.

Well, I did it...I re-potted all three of my tolumnias into lava rock, ( each in it's own two inch pot ) so that they will drain better. So far, they have not skipped a beat! It's true that they love sun...but mine don't get any noonday rays...BettyE.

I see nothing wrong with planting a few plants together, so Ryan, you're not the only one. lol
Grouping plants will only enhance the asthetic of them, especially all those plants come into bloom!
I do agree that it's easier to care for them when potted up individually though.
One note on smallest possible pots.
Orchids do not "like" or dislike to be pot bound. When orchids grow into speciem size, the center will not dry as fast as the edge posing potentail root rots, so for the ease of care (for pot culture for most home growers at least), it has been recommended to use smallest pot possible.
I always pot my orchids in a bigger pots than the super tight fitting pot they came in.
The reason orchids come in such small pot is because those are the pots they grew as small seedlings. As the plants get large, they need larger pots to accomodate the root mass.

By the way, I have all those varieties you mentioned.
All my tolumnias grow either in small grade bark or in a clay pot with no to little media.
I mist heavily everyday twice or more. soak in the sink for half an hour every other day.
It's the grwoing season for my Tolumnias and they need to drink lots like everything else does!

call me crazy, but I have tolumnias in 4 inch pots and they do fine. The critical thing is to use huge bark or large lava rocks to maximize air flow through the medium. These plants like to dry out every day like a vanda in my experience.
