Do they start out small and then get larger over time? then they are fungal infection.
Oncidiums tend to get spots easy, which I find very annoying as I hate to see those spots on the leaves. I don't know why it is that these orchids get spots so easy, but at least my twinkle get those spots easy when sprayed.
I spray all my orchids. after the lesson learned from my twinkle, I only water the root area for oncidium types. All others, I still water all over and nothing bad ever happened so far.
Well, I try not to mist the paphs on their leaves. I never had spot issues with them, but I just read some scary disease paphs can get when too wet. lol
I freak out over things easy. then again, it's all because I love my plants and don't want to lose them.
