Last time I tried to edit with pics I ended up with 2 post. So I just wanted to ask. 2 of these are in 4" pots sitting inside 6" pots. There are roots in both pots . Should I completely repot or just add bark to outside pot? They told me the AM meant awarded plant? Please explain.
Thanks for info and for looking at what followed me home! Il love them, Gladys

Hi Glady,
Hee hee, I see your testing out our eyes
Those flowers and spikes look wonderful!! When I repot, I change the entire media, sometimes the pot size and sometimes not - depends on the root mass.

I would completely repot, to have a better control and to have the same media everywhere, after the blooms dry. Besides that, the media in the smaller pots should be old, by the size of the plants and if bought on a regular shop.

In this case, this clone received an award of merit (AM) from the AOS (American Orchid Society) when appreciated by some judges of this organization.
