Looking for Odontoglossum seedlings/plants
Where in the US do you purchase your Odontoglossums? Species would be great but primary hybrids would be nice as well. Thanks for your help.

Odont sources
Golden Gate Orchids in SF. Tom has lots of stuff that is not on the website, ask him about what you are looking for. The plants are as good as you can find, and Tom is a world class grower.
Odontoglossum Seedling
Paramount Orchids (Canada, but ships to US), nice selection on the website. Plant are nice sized, but not as fat and robustly grown as the stuff from GG.
Start here (3 pages): Oncidium Intergenerics A thru H
Wish there were more options, but there are very few commercial odont growers these days (other than those pesky Hawaiian intergenerics)

Try New Vision Orchids. He wins many awards with his crosses and he is very nice to deal with.

The Paramount Orchids site is awesome. Thanks Neal. If I hit Power Ball tonight I will get one of each.

Another place that has some neat Odm/Onc species is White Oak Orchids (WOO) in Pacifica, CA.
I was there this weekend, they had a whole bench of Odont intergenerics in bloom plus some nice species stuff. I picked up a really nice Onc. excavatum, Onc. bracteatum, & Odm. cirrhosum, among others. I noticed that they had good stocks of the Oncdiums listed above, plus Cyrto macranthum, Odm Summit, and Onc trilobum. They have smaller quantities of many other species and lots of hybrids, I remember seeing Wils Lisa Devos and Wils Jean Dupont among them. They also had a whole section of Miltoniopsis Dainty Lady in bloom... really cute! They have a website, but it only offers a fraction of what they have at the nursery, if you're ever out Calif way you should plan to visit (by appt).
I go there fairly often (Scott Dallas, the owner, is a friend that I've known since he was a backyard grower), if you are looking for something specific, let me know and I can check on it next time I'm there.

Thanks Neal, that's very generous of you. I'll be visiting L.A. in a few months. Is Pacifica close to L.A.? I'll go in and check their site.

Lilly,
Pacifica is just south of San Francisco.
BTW, I might mention that Scott told me that while White Oak will not be selling at the Pacific Orchid Exposition (March 3-6), they will be having an open house that Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Anyone in the area for the POE might want to make the 35 min drive down to Pacifica. White Oak specializes in "The Weird and Wonderful", though I think they have recently abandoned that slogan.

Their site was great. I'd love to go and see their plants in person so I may have to make a side trip from L.A. to San Francisco and then visit White Oak.
Thanks for the info Neal.

A good source for Odontoglossum species (and many other genera) is Colombian Orchid Imports. The deadline for the spring order has passed, but I think Gary imports at least twice a year.
