Default Osmoglossum pulchellum

This one's been a very adaptable species, taking the high heat and humidity of summer better than I thought it would. Luckily the flowers appear in the winter, when I can provide the cool-to-intermediate conditions that it prefers. The fragrance is also fantastic.

I have a plant blooming now that looks the same as this one only it's labelled Odontoglossum pulchellum. I wonder if they're actually the same plant. Very nice!

Hi, Shirley. Yes, they're the same. This species was formerly classified as an odontoglossum.
