Default My two new Oncidiums - Onc. alexandrae & Onc. McBean's Samira

A couple of weeks ago, I received two Oncidiums that I've been dying to share with you guys. Now, one was in flower and the other in bud, so I can't take credit for the flowers. This post is mostly to document their beauty in case I am unable to meet their requirements. At the moment, giving them temperatures between 21 and 13 degrees Celsius is not difficult, but let's see how successful I am come summer or in the dead of winter. If - and that's a big if - I am successful, I'd love to grow more of these, but they are difficult to find in Europe.

To my surprise, neither is fragrant. Both have big, fat pseudobulbs, but I'm not sure if they have bloomed before.
