Frida has run away!

Our beloved Frida ran away yesterday. We were in the backyard tending to the orchids and the dogs were just hanging out with us sniffing around as usual.
When my husband came home we decided to go for a walk with the dogs and we could not find Frida.
Needless to say we are all very upset, not the least Angelique who cries every 30 minutes (she is 7).

Oh how horrible!! I went through the same thing with my beloved pet ducks in the spring, so I understand how you feel. Have you checked with your local animal shelters/ASPCA? Does Frida have a microchip or tags?
I really hope that you find Frida soon!

Oh my--check with all the shelters and also put up flyers in your area. She will probably return home when she gets hungry enough.

A wonderful person saw Frida wandering around the neighborhood and scooped her up. We made big "lost Shih-Tzu" signs and posted them in our yard so she was able to locate our sad household and bring her home.
It is so nice to have people who care and do kind deeds for strangers!

So happy that Frida is home. i am sure that she was very happy to see her family. Nice to have nice people in your neighborhood.
