Default Rain Lily

Hey all,

I grow my Rain Lilies in 1 pot, mostly peat, under t5 shop lights. They are there all year round and bloom for me whenever I flood their pot. Man are they easy to reproduce too.
THis is the first time that I had one of the pink varieties bloom for me at the same time I had my camera handy.

Been growing these for 5+ years.

Most of my rain lilies are yellow, but recently the pink ones have been blooming like crazy.
I wonder if they will hybridize. THe yellow ones are not so big as the pink ones.

White ones, Zephyranthes candida could possibly be winter hardy in a protected spot in the NYC area. Do you keep them as well?

Cool. I'd never really researched these guys, I didn't know there were yellow varieties.

There are white and light pink rain lilies that grow in the wild here. They grow in shaded areas, typically in the woods, close to creeks or in areas that tend to flood/pool a bit when the weather is wet.

The foliage doesn't stick around long, though, certainly not year round.

If you're interested in white ones maybe we could work a trade?
