Elvis was no Honor Student.And look how far he went. She may not have won on American Idol but neither did a lot of others that are bigger names then the ones that won. Americans don't care if your smart they only care if your pretty and or can sing, catch a ball, run fast jump high, can act, ect...

OK, we have watched a few episodes of this program and here is my take on the situation:

ACTING

Plain and simple, the show does not stand a chance unless the 5th graders come out looking like genius material over the adults. As far as I am concerned TV is worse than the NET for dispensing false information. Just watch the news!!!! hehe

There is NO WAY that some of the highly educated people they have on the show are THAT ignorant and stupid.

To top it off, some of the questions they ask at certain grade levels are questionable for that grade level. I don't have any specific examples, but some of them are, well, questionable.
