They really are gorgeous birds. Here we have Western tanagers. Unfortunately I've only seen them during the winter when their plumage is dull. In summer they flame yellow to red.

Great job capturing the gorgeous warblers in photos. A bird with a beautiful song is like an orchid with a wonderful scent--good looking with a bonus.

I was in Brooklyn Botanical Garden two weeks ago and I spotted one of those birds.
I can't quite tell which one exactly, but it was very small, had the white halo around the eyes, and the greenish belly. very cute!!!
