Default Notification problems???

Is anyone else having trouble receiving e-mail notifications from the OB?

I've not received any since yesterday afternoon.

Thanks,

I've only had one or two a day lately, but after looking around the board, it looks like it has just been really slow in general.

Thanks Kim, that might explain some of it but....
I should have received notice of your post to my thread. The only way I found it was to go to the OB home page, click on New Posts and find my thread...........so, something still isn't right.
I am receiving mail so it's not my system.......

I'll see if Marty knows about anything.

I don't have mine set to receive them anyway so I've not noticed if it's working or not.

Just a thought, I've heard of people needing to go back and set the setting on their account again. Not sure why it might have been unset, but try looking at your settings to check it's still set to send emails.

If you're talking about notifications to threads you applied to, they've slowed down for me too. But, I found out where they went, just can't fix the problem...

...they're in my SPAM folder.

I didn't do any changes to my email account. No changes here. So how do I fix this?

The problem with them going into spam depends on what options you email provider allows.

In MS Outlook you can add 'safe senders' then anything from them won't go into spam. In Gmail you can look in spam and mark as 'not spam' and it is supposed to slowly learn, however I have some of the moderator emails that keep going into there and I've not been able to resolve it, except regular checking of my spam folder.

My problem as I have just noticed is that when I post a new thread, it doesn't show in the list on the home page for me but others can see it because I've gotten some replies.... so what's with this??????? Where's Susie Q when you need her.... probably taking the chids for a swim!!!!!
