Thank you Tindomul and Beverly for the wonderful pics!

Is it just my mind or do all the owl pics look like they should have a caption attached.
Sorry my imagination is running away again.

I think that people can't help but to imagine what they might be thinking. hehe.

So true

Must ask, will you be monitoring them so to speak?
Will there be any future pics?
(please say yes)

I do go very often, and I went back yesterday and was happy to see them hiding very nicely as 5 rambunctious teenagers, with no regard to nature, passed right under them. I made an effort to not look too much so as not to draw attention to them. But all I could see was the top of their heads. I will post more pictures as they grow up, hopefully

Shame about the teenagers, but with any luck they wont be too much of a nuisance for the owlets.

Can't wait to see the future pics and will be keeping fingers crossed.

Here's hoping they both do well!
Almost want to name/refer to them as Olly and Bert.

My pics could have the caption for the owlet: "What am I doing here?". They look a bit bewildered in all the pics I have of them. However, the caption for the parent owl is quite evident: "Touch my kid and see what happens". Doesn't s/he look fierce?

Mum certainly does look like she shouldn't be messed with.

Wish I had owls locally, there's so few predatory birds round near me. If there are any they are well hidden, which I suppose would be a good thing.

Tindomul,
I'm curious and hoping that no News is good News?
Are they ready for leaving the Nest or have they done so already?

They have fledged! About a month or two ago I would say. So yes, no news is good news.
I can't wait to see next year's babies, if they have any next year.
