Joe, tomorrow is the meeting of the Miramar Orchid Club. I almost had Mike joining but he got sick. Anyhoos, I want to mention this to the club, but I don't know his full name, date of birth etc (to mention if anyone wants to make a donation to the AOS in his honor).

This is just so sad, he was so young and a kind spirit, the world will miss him.

He sure is being missed. I was in the everglades this Sunday hoping and praying that he'd pull through and join me again in our crazy adventures. Anyway I don't know, maybe when I leave this place he'll meet me and show all the great spots he's discovered filled with ghost orchids, fishing hot spots, and his wonderful adventures.

This is such sad news. Thanks for keeping us informed, Joe. I am very sorry for your loss. I know he was your good friend. Thanks for the video clip, Dave. I will never again be able to think of ghost orchids without thinking of Mike. That was beautiful. May he rest in peace.

Joe I have video of Mike on a trip you didn't make and would love to get a copy of it to his folks. Something you've never seen as well. I want to meet up with you soon and you can give it to them. Maybe we can get a group together that new him and to have a memorial ghost hunt. Let me know.

This was a hard thread for me to read and I had to do it in baby steps as tears came to my eyes repeatedly. And I didn't even know him. God bless Mike, his family and all of his loved ones.
