I have also looked into volunteering here - Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park and Coe Hall Is Located 1395 Planting Fields Road Oyster Bay, NY 11771
and here - The Garden Conservancy

I just called Martin Viette to follow up my application and they are looking for someone FULL time .. I can'ts believes it ..
Holy Moly ..
They will be getting back to me after they review my application and talk to the manager ..
I think I died and went to heaven!

That is great news! I so hope that they take you on and you can start soon. I was just saying to my hubby today working in a garden center would be my dream job or a nursery.

Oh I would be in so much trouble there. I would leave without a paycheck...seriously

I went to work for a importer of tropical fish in the midwest and one week I had to pay them. Imagine leaving working with nothing and having to write a check to boot.

Here is the picture of my lucky Gecko. He has been good to me.



I was trying to post a little movie clip of him but did not know how to do it.

Best way I know how to do that is to post it on you tube and then embed it here.
