I love these little plants, I had a few last year and they took care of my fungus knat problem. They were in a terrarium with pitcher plants and a venus flytrap.

I just LOVE these little canivorous plants. . .but I've done in every one I've tried to care for.

IF I tried again and ordered one of the little Pinguicula, what do I do to make it happy? LOL

Check my response to Tindo, Gwen. They are actually very easy to grow if in high humidity and wet sphagnum. I used a tray like you'd use in a silverware drawer. I drilled a few holes in bottom. Laid in a layer of sphagnum and sprinkled the fine siftings from Paph mix on top. That put some shell, and other fines. I just bestled the three into small indentations and they took over. I drench the mix and leaves maybe every other week. Hope this helps. By the way, stay away from the species ones unless you can privide winter dormancy. Mine are the fancy Mexican hybrids which don't require a dormancy.

I used Cascade Carnivores as my source: Cascade Carnivores

I purchased three: P.agnata (the one not currently in bloom - it's flower is fragrant), P. 'Weser' (the Rose-colored flower) and P.Gina' (the light purple flowers).

The Paph/Phrag mix is from Quarter Acre Orchids. The bag has fines in the bottom that you would screen out. I just sprinkled those fines over the top of the sphagnum.

Hope this helps.
