Tried to get a decent pic of the inside but between the lighting and my camera's limitations this is the best I could do. If anyone would like me to, I'll try to get a better pic later.

Paul, other species from this genera do attact flies for pollenation!!!!! But with that snail at your friends home, I don't think you'll be attracting much more than flies
