hard time getting home
had to drive 22 miles in this stuff. My car actually has a SNOW mode. Who would ever think SNOW mode in Texas.
Frozen brakes the last 15 miles and didnt stop at any Red light or stop sign, No one was coming fortunately.
couldnt quite make it to the garage. kept sliding towards my house. I will leave well enough alone.
the worst thing that has happend to me today is my cats didnt like my hat n coat and ran out the back door and not come back yet. I hope I dont find no frozen kittties. . Remember I am in south Texas and we arent built for this and our Snow driving IQ is pretty low. I was very fortunate today.

Driving in that %#*p takes practice and a lot of people never figure it out. Having lived in northern New England my entire life, I've had way too much practice and have retired from doing it any more.

Thanks for showing us,I got quite a bit of the same over here.
I have had my share of keeping all eighteen tires on the right trail. Between Canada, around Buffulo, NY, all over Mn.& Mi Wisconson ect.
I stayed home, dont need it anymore.
Glad you came out ok.

Glad you made it home OK. Yep, that's some treacherous driving conditions. I stayed home and will do so today. After temps above freezing in the afternoon, then down to almost 10 degrees F, I won't be venturing out on the ice. Zone 9?

We’ve got about 2”-3” here, as well, although it’s more like granular snow - frozen sleet accumulated on top of freezing rain.
Ain’t nobody goin’ nowhere til it melts, which might be days, as there is no snow removal equipment in the area.
