But for the last week. I have been obsessing with an old passion...genealogy. My niece was in Salt Lake City doing research and called me to tell me about new family finds we have both been chasing down for many years.
However, I did buy 4 more phals, got them repotted in S/H, two mini hybrids, white with purple and two standard NoID, one as a gift for a friend.
I have put all my non bloomer phals and new growers, and a couple of rehabs in my bathroom with skylight, lights, good humidity and air movement. The are all doing well. All in S/H. I am keeping them in the dark at night and temp down to low 60s hoping I will get some blooms in a few or several months.
Back to chasing kin in Northern Ireland and finally finding what I been looking for over 25 yrs.
Genealogy like Orchids takes lots of patience to reach the goal. I love the non bloomers and growers for their rich green leaves, as much as I do the bloomers. I talk to them every day, saying good morning babies. Thanks for growing new leaves.
Photos taken, to follow soon
