:scratchhead: but... I think mini's should have their own section. Maybe break it down to alliances from there :nod:. Also if there is not already a Fragrant flower section, there should be! I havent ventured around enough to look.

I fully support Orchidaholic's plea for mini orchid section. Let's get down to know who are all growing such miniatures which were originally grouped under botanicals. By the way, which do you think is the smallest orchid? Any photographs?

Just to jump in here, I don't think it matters, as those that grow minis recognize there are thousands of possibilities and hundreds of species. If we were to have a seperate section for minis (I support this) then I think any mini qualifies. Does this help?

Good questions. I don't think 'compact' is mini. Mini usually refers to overall plant stature. (Well other things too, but we are discussing plants here :evil: )

Micro-Mini : under 4 inches in height
Mini : 4 inches to 8 inches in height
Compact : 8 inches to 12 inches in height
