Urban is the key here. Believe it or not lots of folks (my kids for ones) live so far out of town they don't get cable or DSL. So satelite is only option. That, however is controlled by phone line for uplink.

And what's wrong with dial up!?

<<<Dial up user (Me but I am a female with a full head of hair)

Don't get your hair in a yank Nothing is wrong with dial-up. It's just that when High speed folks experience a lag they bitch about, you guys must be saying "huh, what's different now?"

Things seem to work quite well thus far. OB is quite responsive. Hopefully we're out of the woods. The memory upgrade helped a lot.

I thought things just got better. Most of the stalls seem to have gone away. Great job!

Little hangups might still happen from time to time, but for the most part I think we're out of the woods. It should be much better then last week when ppl waited 2 minutes to load a page

I was going thru alot of lagging before the upgrade, and yes it would take minutes just to load the page, then it would go blank then guess who would get the boot

Anyways that's all over, I'm zoooooming
Thanks for all that you do, Marty
OB is even more pleasant to come too now.

Marty, I noticed something strange. New posts aren't always new. I can view posts and leave OB and then come back (why? You ask? "Just 'cause") and the posts I previously viewed are still marked new posts. Not sure why?
