Geodorum densiflorum
Geodorum densiflorum is a widespread species found in east Asia. In Taiwan, the wild plants could be found in mountainous regions. The species casts its leaves in winter and new growth occurs in late spring.

Unusual and very pretty. I love the Eulophinae but was completely unfamiliar with this genus. Now I want one!

If they're in the Eulophiinae they should be very easy to grow!
Eulophias are grouped together with Cymbidiums.

Geodorum densiflorum is an easy species to grow. The wild plants could still be found in south Taiwan.
Some plants are said to be found in cultivated fields or farms.

In general (and specifically for Eulophia as a genus) I'd agree with you ... but Eulophiella roempleriana has kicked me around a few times!

they grow wild here in Australia to. Close to the coast in sandy soils they can be quite abundant.
