The attached picture is of Habenaria dilatata, the White Bog Orchid, which we photographed this past summer in Yellowstone National Park along Uncle Tom's Trail.

I think the Spiranthes are known as Ladies' Tresses, not this plant, though it looks superficially similar. This is also known as the Bog Candle (wonderful name) or Platanthera dilatata.

Very nice shot. So dainty. I live in the SE and we have the spirantha growing in the lawn. The flowers unlike this one, spiral around the spike. I have a pic. in my gallery. Thanks for showing one of natures beauties.
Uncle Tom's Trail is one of the trails that go down into the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, this one on the south side of the Canyon goes down to a view of the lower falls.
