Default Bletilla striata 'Alba'

My Bletilla all bloomed 2 months earlier than usual..they just didn't want to stay dormant! I like this alba form better than my pinks...much better form too.

Gorgeous!
Todd, I fell in love with this genus when you posted one of your pinks last year

An elegant bletilla.
Todd, do they grow outdoors all year round?

Beautiful - I like the white form better too! I put pinks into the ground last spring and they never bloomed....we still have a layer of snow though so fingers are crossed for the upcoming season! ...wait a sec...you're in Canada - how are these blooming for you already?? (are you growing them in containers? )

I grow them indoors....overwinter in cold but frost-free basement...obviously not cold enough for them to be blooming already!

I love these! I have the pink and white growing in my yard. They are in bloom now and will probably last a couple more weeks. I am fortunate here in the Houston area that they do so well outside. I just plant them and enjoy them! They often set seed, but I have not tried growing them that way. Has anyone else tried it?
