My solution was to flip the plant. Lol.
The flower smells very sweet and lemony.
It's still opening so it's a little green.

It's super cute. And I'm happy to finally see and smell one in person.
I have this dream where everything in my lantern has multiple blooms at the same time.
One day it'll happen

I was so close to seeing everything in bloom together! Or... at least the things I didn't attempt to kill in my other lantern.

The haraella just dropped its flower. I expected the fragrance to fade, but it remained sweet and lemony it's whole life.
During the height of the bloom I could actually smell it from my bed!
The other haraella has a happy bud swelling.

The lepanthes telipogoniflora did put a flower. But the bottom was fused and it didn't open all the way.
The flower before it was a seemingly healthy bloom that dropped the day it bloomed.
Today the next bud opened. And so far everything is going great. I'm going to see how long the bloom lasts.
If it fades too quickly I'll have to check and adjust my culture.
Of course it's facing the rock though. True to form for me.

The lepanthopsis astrophora has I think finished throwing out spikes.
The count is 8! Much more than last blooming.

You are getting close! Do not forget - Lepanthopsis's spikes DO REBLOOM, and quite often, so do not cut them! Glad to see chids are doing fine :-)

Good job ordphien!
Beautiful orchidarium! Do you have a humidifier or do you spray it daily?

Much closer. Maybe with this round of buds I'll see the original three in bloom!
I was just wondering why i never cut my old spikes off. And you reminded me!
In case they rebloomed. The old ones dried though but I'll keep the new ones.

Thank you!
It was very nice to catch a whiff of it every so often.

Thank you!
No and no.
I don't do either.
Mainly the lava rock wicks up all the moisture it needs from the tray, and that keeps the humidity high.
