Stunning plant Ron!!! And how do you grow yours? LOL...
I just bought my second one of these. A lady there said she uses a shallow bonsai pot for hers and I was thinking if trying that out, but not sure what medium to use. Last time, it was mounted in my terrarium and grew like wild until I removed the sphag around it and then it died quickly.

Mine is currently in a small clay pot, Paul, but you can hardly see the pot since most of the plant is outside the pot. If I remember, the pot has mix in it, but it's been in the pot so long that I'm not even sure. It's grown with my other cool orchids, very good light and humidity (80%).

I've grown this on tree fern slabs and in pots, in mix and in sphagnum and it doesn't seem to matter much. I would think a shallow bonsai pot would do nicely.

I may try the bonsai pot, but I do want to restock my terrarium. I fear something bad got in there and many succumbed to a black rot of sorts, bugs and who knows what else, lol... Redesigning to account for these issues. I get about 80% RH in there, so this may work great!!! Thanks for the info!!!

Sorry I missed this, Lee. I haven't been around much. If it still is of any help, I don't think it makes much difference what you mount it on since the things rambles all over anyway and most of the roots end up hanging in the air.
