Lepanthes telipogoniflora
Got a good shot of this baby before the bloom died. Only lasted like four or five days.

Nice shot! Shows the translucent nature of the flower pretty well!
This is one of my favorite orchids. As soon as I can find a source in the U.S. I'm getting one! I know Ecuagenera sells some when they come to the U.S. for shows, but I'm not sure I trust a plant that's travelled so far and then has to travel another couple thousand miles. I'm sure they do an excellent job, but it still probably stresses the plant.

Beautiful orchid and stunning photos. Good lord this one is extraordinary.
I've been after this mini for ages, but can't seem to connect with a seller. Almost got one from EG at the Connecticut orchid show this year, but missed the pre order. Just missed.
The hunt continues. Until then, I'll revel in your pics.

Never heard of those folks before... Maybe I can get them to ship when they are in Texas for their lecture series. Thanks!

Fantastic and difficult to grow, unless your space is perfect for cloud forest orchids. I've seen this pretty mini mounted with living moss, and the owner cuts back the moss from time to time with nail scissors. This plant is bought from Andrea Niessen/orquivalle.

Euplusia, while it is true that Lepanthes in general are not the easiest orchids to grow, (particularly for a casual hobbyist), however for those who are willing to put forth the time and effort, I've actually found Lths telipogoniflora to consistently be one of the easier species to grow out of the group.
