Default Mediocalcar decoratum

I was so afraid to buy this little one because most places say it is a cool grower and needs lots of humidity but I bought it anyway and I am glad I did. This is the first time I have got it to bloom. The bonsai pot it is growing in is about 5" by 3" so it is a fairly decent size plant.

Great job, Tim!

Nice, I wish my plant looked like that. Is this one inside under lights?

Hi and thanks, this one is outside under a tree for the summer (actually all of my orchids are even the ones from my terrarium) but during the winter I have it under my 48" florescents in a 2 1/2 gallon fish tank with a 1" layer of LECA on the bottom so it does not touch any water that I put in it.

I admire the skills needed to keep these little things alive and make them bloom! I saw one of these Mediocalcar last week at our ochid society meeting and must say I found it a very cute little orchid! Congrats on your plant and flowers!
