I have orchids growing everywhere around the building where I live (check
this thread and
this one), so I thought why not try to grow them on my window sill as well?
It's not the prettiest setup but it works really well and I can enjoy them without having to leave the apartment.
The orchid pots are placed inside window boxes filled with leca, that helps keeping the roots cool and also absorbs any excess water.
Since it's very bright, I'm growing cattleyas only.
