AMAZING!!!!
How did you fit the plant's into the background, Or are the mounted? It's so seamless I cant tell. Is the background DIY?

Hi Chase. Thanks for commenting. The background is DIY, made of styrofoam insulation panels glued together, carved, melted a bit with a blowtorch, filled in with spray insulation and painted. There are holes and spaces for the plants built into the background. This is the third one of these I've done. Takes some time and mess but makes a nice display. This link takes you to another blog post of an earlier display using the same display case and of a very old display I put in a show twenty years ago using someone else's case.

You should come down to one of our shows. We're not that far away. I will be up your way in October to give a program for the VOS, so perhaps we'll have opportunity to meet then, even if you can't make it down our way.

That looks pretty good to me, Chase, but if you are look for something permanent, styrofoam is pretty fragile stuff. It works well for a temporary display but I wouldn't use it in anything permanent. Not only that, but everything melts it.

Ron, this is excellent as usual! That Masd. decumana is amazing and a favorite of mine. Both the plants presented and the overall design and placement are equally stunning.
