Maybe it's just the climate difference, cuz they grow like a weed down here! I have a few hybrids out back that have bigger leaves than some of my Phals....8"-10".

I get stuff like this!


First one is basically a NOID because the second name on the tag makes no sense:
Den Coleman x "The Green"

Second is Den Zengyo Pink which is about to bloom

Both are almost as tall as me...I'm 5'7"

How very pretty Susanne, a bit big though. I also thought I didn't like them until I started looking at them (especially the minis). I now have quite a few and they are actually thriving. I would love to do a Dend. for the next project.

If you remember I posted a while back (like last fall) on Dendros growing as landscape plants in Hawaii. I think you are right.
