Aint that the truth!! Sometimes you just need to be a bit creative to make more space.
Or you do like I'm about to do: move to a bigger place! ![ROFL](https://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/rofl3.gif)

Shoot, I knew this was coming and missed the deadline to participate in voting (haven't had much time for the computer - have been having some personal family issues), can I still take part in the project?

I think you are fine Franco, up until the plants are bought and a little bit after.
Apparently 2 years is too long for me to join the Max ten project though *sulks* (LOL)

haha, if that's the case - count me in! Any excuse to buy a new plant is a good one. I have a good deal of them on the list already such as S. cernua. I got it bloom size mounted from Andy's. I only paid 16$ or so. I wouldn't mind another!

That's what I've slowly been finding out over the last 2 years ![Very Happy](https://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif) I actually completly rearranged the furniture in my living room when the Montreal show last month was looming up to make more space for a shelf to add more plants! My space limitation is actually a mesure of how many lights my breaker box can handle

Wish I could do just that! It's why I pray to win the lottery every day ![Very Happy](https://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif) But hey, I can find some ways around my limitations somewhat, my landlord probably won't mind me planting some hardy orchids outside after all! ![Big Grin](https://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/biggrin2.gif)

Right, so far I’ve heard back from Carolina Orchids, and J&L. Carolina only has ‘a few’ of everything (Phal, Den, Soph) while J&L has ‘enough’ (I told him we had 33 US members so far) of the Soph and Bulbo sumatranum. But he didn’t say how many of the Den and Bulbo lobbii. Why are they incapable of giving numbers???
Looks like Phal cornu-cervi will come off the list if Parkside doesn't have 30 of them. Those were the only 2 growers to have it in our price range.

It's annoying having to wait for all the email replies before finally being able to do the last poll....

While we are waiting, would anyone who's got any of the top plants like to tell a bit about them? I'm not sure what I'm voting for, so I wouldn't mind hearing more information!

I have Bulb. lobbii and Sophronitis cernua. I just recently acquited both plants within the past 2 months or so.
The Bulbophyllum seems to be a like any other bulbo. They like it warm and moist. I have mine growing potted in a sphag/bark mix and it's putting out new root growth like crazy since it's been moved outside into the shade. No new leads yet though!
The Soph. cernua on the other hand is a really neat plant. The leaves are no bigger than a nickel and are almost perfectly round in shape (you can see mine in my terrarium thread). They are similar to cattleyas in nature, requiring high light. However I've found mine (both Soph. cernua and Soph. coccinea) to do good with higher humidity and frequent watering. I have new roots and growth eyes emerging all over. However no blooms on Soph. cernua just yet. ![Cross Fingers](https://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/crossfingers.gif)
