Sue, sometimes I forget you have expanded beyond your previous enviroment. With being an indoor grower, orchids are easier to me to adapt to the I/W...but not to mention I would think this refers to many in community. I know my pluerothallis is finally coming out of it enviromental adjustments many months after arrival. Would definitely not want to go into this project knowing it's temp conditions would stall for some and flourish for others.

Has anyone mentioned Epi. pseudepidendrum, Ctsm. pileatum, C. bicolor, or C. forbesii? I don't know the availability, but they sure are nice.

How can I tell if a chid is available in other countries?
I have found a mounted Species (not hybrid) intermediate temps.and the size I believe is small. Just don't know if everyone can get it. Anyway here it is.

Hi Jasen
I added the Epi and the C forbesii but we'll have to check into availability and discuss them in the next chat.
The Ctsm pileatum will be too big for the project. I have one and unless mine is a mutant, it'll be way too big for lots of the members participating.
C. bicolor is described as medium to larged sized...also wouldn't work.
Great choices, though
Thanks for the input

Hi Dave
Somebody did suggest that before...and I don't remember what the reason was but it doesn't work for us. Either availability or size was the issue, I think
It is a stunner though!
