What about : Pleurothallis ornata?
Available in Europe, and in the US at the link above (Andy's Orchids) and probably elsewhere?
Listed as an 'easy grower' : Free Flowering Throughout the Year, Bright to Shade; Intermediate to Cool

Sue, Isn't that 'Intermediate'?
From the Hausermann website:
CORRECT TEMPERATURES are of great importance in growing and blooming orchids successfully. We classify orchids as WARM GROWING, INTERMEDIATE or COOL GROWING.
WARM GROWING varieties prefer a temperature range of 64 degrees F at night, 72° F during daytime and 80° F with sun.
The INTERMEDIATE temperature range is 60 degrees F at night, 68° F during daytime and 75° F with sun.
COOL GROWING plants prefer a temperature of 55 degrees F at night, 65° F during daytime and 70° F on sunny days.

Hey Sue, sorry for missing the chat, will try to make it on Saturday night. What an enticing list... I you could please add my name to these choices...
Aerangis rhodosticta
Cattleya intermedia
Masdevallia infracta
Phalaenopsis hieroglyphica
Guess my favorites....
Shakkai~Intermediate-growing orchids, including cattleyas, dendrobiums, many oncidiums and some paphiopedilum, prefer nighttime temperatures between 55 and 60 degrees F and daytime temperatures between 65 and 80 degrees F. I do not think it's a that big of deal within 5 degrees, noting my info is a tad off of yours, just depends on what website visited.

Thanks Cheryl! So up to 80F is okay? I do realise that it is all quite relative and depends a lot on humidity, air movement, etc... as well.
But I've started to worry when Sue said that max 80F was a 'no can do'....

Hey guys, sorry I didn't make it back last night. I had to buy a new router, today, but now I'm back on line. Stupid computers! I will try to catch up.

Walkeriana size & availability
Sue,
These pics show the C. walkeriana plant size ("Bohemia" is a regular beer can!). My C. walk has not flower, but it's a BS. The bloomed one unfortunately is not mine...
About Cochlenthes/Condrorhyncha, none are available in Brazil or Ecuagenera
Pescatorea wallisii is in Ecuagenera catalogue but...."not available at this time"
I won't be able to chat tomorrow, and my votes supports all Cattleya-alliance remaining plants (Catts, Laelias, Leptotes and Brassavola). If I need to choose only four, I vote:
Laelia pumila
Cattleya walkeriana
Brassavola perrinii
Leptotes bicolor

The "no can do" was more for me than anything else
I'll add it to the list for discussion...and if it makes it to the poll, I'll just have to deal with it.
