Hi Jasen

The dowiana and the ilense are much too large for our project
That's really unfortunate because the Epi ilense is absolutely gorgeous!

I'll put your name on the L tenebrosa

Can we consider Lycaste cochleata - Synonym Maxillaria cochleata
The only thing that may not qualify is that it is a cool to warm grower
IOSPE PHOTOS
It's such a little cutie
and fragrant too!

Seems this might be a great choice for our partners in the English Isles? I could grow it here.

Susanne,

I don't think Laelia tenebrosa is smaller than C. dowiana...in fact my tenebrosa is a huge plant!

About the newer plants in Tentative List, that's the availability in Brazil:

Rhyncholaelia digbyana - OK!
Masdevallia floribunda - only at Ecuagenera
Phalaenopsis corningiana - not available (possible in SBOE, but too late this year)
Phalaenopsis mariae - not available
Cattleya walkeriana - OK, of course!
Mtdm. Bartley Schwartz 'Highland' - not available
Den. amabile - OK! (as Dendrobium thyrsiflorum)
Epc Siam Jade - not available
Lycaste cochleata - not available

Made the adjustments and added C dowiana...but if it and L tenebrosa are large, they won't be good for a number of our members

Also, E cordigera is a HOT grower so that may not work for many folks either...too bad because I love it!
