The last four listed above are not available in Canada but I added them anyway.
The others listed, as follows, did not make it to the list:
Promenaea stapelioides - is a cold grower - No good
Promenaea rollisonii - not available in U.S.
Octomeria gracilis - not available in U.S.

Dryadella albicans is available here, add my name to that one. I'll check on the rest in a little bit.

Helcia sanguinolenta is also listed here. Nice one too - I love spotted flowers! I've not been able to find the others.

About M & M:
Few month ago I tried to order there but I didn't get any answer. I wonder was the company making bisnes anymore?

Oh-ho! Thanks for the heads up!! If we can't get some of these from them, it will really change what is currently listed as 'available in Europe'.... Heli, do you have any other suggestions for places to try? I was also going to try Botanische Orchideen in the Netherlands, as they have quite a nice listing as well. Any other suggestions would be great!

Botorc has quite large list, but I haven't ordered there. I ordered my project orchid from Wubben. Wubben is more expensive than Botorc.

Susanne, Dorothy
Availiability in Brazil of the newer ones in the List
Laelia lundii - OK!
Promenaea xanthina - OK!
Scuticraia hadwenii - OK! (I do not recommend this one, Scuticarias are very difficult to grow!)
Helcia sanguinolenta - Available in Ecuagenera (Sept/07)
Dryadella albicans - not available (it is a Masdevallia-alliance plant, former called Masdevallia albicans; someone knows another syn.? Ecuagenera has almost all known Masdevallias in the world, I think it's impossible they don't have this one!)

I love the variety of orchids we have accumulated and more importantly, finding available internationally.
A big thanks to Sue, Frederico, Shakkai and everyone for their contributions and time spent researching. You have all made this project something fun and exciting!

It's great to see everybody taking a real interest in putting together the plant list
...funny for the morning:
This morning I told my husband that Thursday evening is our first official chat for the new project.
His reply...
See ya Friday
