Looks like the return of L. perrinii
Some of you may remember the big effort I put in to get this one elected as the project plant the last time Its always fun.

Hi Al
I'll add your name to those choices.
We all live in such varied locations...and grow in such varied conditions that the one "rule" we will stick to in the project is that it be an "Intermediate" growing plant. This means that it is happy somewhere in the middle of hot/warm and cool/cold.
I think you'll be able to continue along with us

Tindo,
If the L. perrinii isn't the winner for this project, I just made up my mind that it will be the travel companion!

Agreed, last time I didn't do that because the company we went with didn't have it available.

Dorothy, I'm not planning to go anywhere, no worries!! Its just that I didn't want plants ruled out simply because I couldn't grow them. I know that there are only a couple of people here with a similar climate to mine... most are dealing with much warmer temps in summer especially.
One thing that I've found so great already is looking through all of the suggestions and finding great new orchids to add to the collection (whether they get chosen for the project ot not!)...

Okay I would like to nominate another orchid that I found off of Clouds Orchids website and is available at Oak Hill Gardens as well.
Caulocattleya Chantilly Lace 'Twinkle' HCC/AOS (C. El Dorado Splash x Caularthron bicornutum)
Link: http://www.cloudsorchids.com/images/5847_0.jpg
Description : Adorable compact cattleya with soft pink flowers with magenta spotted and flushed petals and lip. Prefers moderate to bright light. Good for under lights, windowsill or solarium culture.
I hope not to many others have this one already, although I know at least one of our members has this one already.
