Smile project sggestion

Here's one that might fit the bill,
A Species, small, def.different. (look at the size of the bulbs!) RED, summer/fall bloom time AND smells like coconut cream pie, now if that isn't a kicker!! Down side, only ship to USA, can you folks in Canada and Europe and down-under find this?

Maxillaria Tenuifolia 4N

This one is very nice too.
Has anyone been able to find it for our friends outside the US? It is nice but neither of the 2 Canadian websites seem to have it.

I cannot find anything to confirm or deny the 3 yr life expectancy either.

Hi Al...you're right, this is a great plant to have...so I have two

I think many of our members have it too.

If you have a chance to get one, you should...the blooms are cute and the fragrance is unreal! They can get VERY large if you don't divide them, here's a photo I took of the one at R.F. Orchids in Homestead, FL last year:

Gracie, our posts must've crossed in the mail
Found this:

Did some more research on Sedirea japonica and found this:
Sedirea japonica has been found to be a short lived plant in cultivation, and plants that flower for four or five seasons are rare.

I want a plant that will last longer than 3 years with the proper care...anybody else?

Bollea violacea looks nice also (it is considered to be related to Zygopetalums and likes similar conditions.)

Can you add me? I'm in the UK - so that gives you one more country.
