Once we each get our new 'chid, we do with it whatever we'd do if we got it on our own. It's part of the experiment...Which way works best? What culture did that person use? What if.....
Almost anything can be mounted. I said "almost" because I know there will people who disagree if I said "All"
Aerangis biloba (super fragrant), Leptodes bicolor (I think several others may have that) and in particular, Cymbidium ensifolium.
Aerangis biloba is a very nice one - I especially like the fact that it is fragrant - do you know what it smells like -
Leptodes bicolor is very pretty too. This one looks like a choice I'd like as well.
It appears that almost every choice has its merits. I like all colors except shades of orange and some of the green orchids.

Also available at Oak Hill
Phalaenopsis hieroglyphica IOSPE PHOTOS
Also available at numerous US sites
I give my vote to these two above out of the list that they were posted in! I really like the Cischweinfia dasyandra even though I can't pronounce it. Glad I won't be the one placing the order...lol.
Only thing is:
when we find one on Paramount's site, we need to make sure it's available here in the U.S. too
I searched the first 15 pages of a Google search for Ancistrochilus rothschildianus...didn't find it in the U.S.
Found Oncidium ornithorynchum at Hausermann's and although it's compact at under 15" tall, when you see the picture, you realize it's too big for our project.
I'll add your name to the Leptotes bicolor on the plant list.
I've read every post for this project and looked at all the pictures, just from this info can a beginner have a chance doing this. How do you join the OB Project? If it means saying I'm in then I would like to be in, the worst that could happen is the plant and my money are gone, but on the bright side evryone could learn from my mistakes. Thank you Mike
Just for the record, please add my name as supporting and suggesting the Tolumnia. It is commonly available, should be available in other countries and the one suggested earlier is a newbie to me.
