making plants travel alone is cruel and insensitive. As sensitive women we have an obligation to nurture these orchids and make them feel secure. Bringing some friends with them ensures their well being, soothes their delicate psyches, and guarantees us better orchids with good attitudes and secure personalities.

This is really getting out of hand
Where does the 12 step Orchid Program meet?
I know the 12 step program all to well-
step 1 buy an orchid
step 2 buy another orchid
steps 3-12 repeat step 3

The 12-step goes like this: (I think this info came from Gin )
Buy 1 orchid in January
Buy 1 orchid in February
Buy 1 orchid in March
Buy 1 orchid in April...
etc, etc, etc!
12 months...12 steps...it's lke an omen

Here is another one that I am nominating and is well admired by Dorothy as well
5611 Bro. sanguinea var aurea 'Claude' AM/AQ/AOS x Schom. brysiana 'Hamlyn'
Here is a link for a picture, scroll down towards the bottom of the page to find it. This particular website is offering flasks...perhaps they might have larger sized plants for us:
Hamlyn Orchids Ltd. - Schomburgkia Page
Let me know if I need to move this to the new thread that is being created. Thanks!
