No, I wasn't saying that was the solution, I had originally wanted a mounted 'chid for the project plant, but also requested a potted one only if it was in spike, so potted I got! That is why I plan on mounting it when it is finished blooming, it has a nice piece of cork currently waiting for it. Currently it is planted in sphag moss in a clay pot and that is how it came. I am not a big fan of how it is currently potted, and if I were to dunk it daily the moss would stay to wet, but I do use the MSU fertilizer at 125 ppm Nitrogen!

Mine still look like they just opened. It's been almost exactly 1 month since the first flower opened. If you have other flowers that seem to not last as long as they should I'm guessing it must be something new in your grow area. It could be a combo of the mist and cooler temps??

Hmmm...cooler temps? I haven't been watching the temps much since I grow in an orchidarium...I'll have to take a look at that, but the temps haven't changed any over the month it was in bloom.

Project #4 update
Here's the latest pics of my Aerangis. One flower open 19 to go for a total of 20 it'll look great if they all make it. Thanks for looking. Jim.
