Don't feel bad Sue, mine is doing the same! Only mine is worse since it looks to now have only 2 good roots. I just moved it from the window to my newly set-up terrarium. I'm hoping that will be it's "happy place"! I just can't figure that darn thing out!

Congrats to everyone who has one blooming or about to bloom. I am beyond jealous!!!

I'm just happy that mine has now attached itself firmly to its mount with its new roots. No sign of any spike yet - I'm expecting that it won't be until Spring.

For those who have had flowers - how long are the flowers lasting?

Julie,

Mine is the same 'stage' than yours (this pic I posted in the Project Gallery, december-07). I guess the spike is growing a little bit faster (or less slowly) now!

A bit off-topic, but I'm interested to know about Aerangis spike growing times, have this biloba here, and since I got it in spike, I'm not sure if it's stalled or is it just growing at a snail's space... There is leaf growth which makes me kinda happy...

I got my plant with just a spike nubbin the beginning of August and it didn't bloom until December. Seems like it took forever for the spike to finish growing and mature.

All those little bumps turned into buds 19 at last count, I can't wait see them open.
Thanks for looking. Jim.
