Potted or mounted--I've mounted mine on a big piece of rugged cork padded with a little sphagnum moss.
Open/orchidarium--orchidarium with a fan running 24/7.
Indoors/outdoors--Indoors
Approx amount of light-- bright shade. It's hanging on the back wall, high up, near the lights. On top of the Exo Terra screens (just below the lights) I've added two sheets of wax paper sandwiching a layer of paper leaf cut-outs to create shaded, dappled light. LOL
Approx temps--Low 63 at night, high 74
Approx humidity--Low 66%, high 99%
Watering and fertilizer regime-I've been watering early in this morning with ro water and fertilizing with a weak solution every other watering.

Hey Ami,

My plant had some of the same spots yours has. Not sure what it is but..my poor little guy looked pretty sad when he got to me. I thought it might be to long in the box, but not sure.

I don't think it could be the time in the box as mine was sent out on Monday and got here on Wednesday. I have more than a few spots...the new leaf is also kinda deformed. Here are pictures of all the leaves. The roots are really healthy looking though. How long was yours in the box DJ?

Ami, you know what to do now
Give them a call and let them know you're not happy with the plant you received. They'll make it right
I think Tom and John are both away this week but if you send an email, I'm sure they'll get back to you when they're back in the shop

Ami,
Your plant really looks weak and in bad phytosanitary conditions. Comparing with Dorothy's one I guess it will need 2-3 ys. to reach the same size. I think you can demand a substituition (choose a potted this time)
