Got my order today-boy that was quick! Mailed out on Monday, delivered via usps on Wednesday. No spike for me I will post pictures later in the project 4 gallery.
Also, I received my TC Sharry Baby (couldn't resist) with 3 spikes on it . They don't joke around when they say something is in spike or bloom. It's beautiful. My aerangis arrived with measles on it's leaf- maybe that is normal? The spots don't rub off so I am assuming it will just grow out of it. The roots are neato on this one.
Can't wait to see these buddies bloom!

Regarding spikes for those of us (3 so far) that have the, mine are progressing greatly. They have turned out into the terrarium as I would have hoped and are now approx twice as long as when I received the plant.

Thanks. "TC" Travelling companion. Cute, and an example of the fact that I don't text much on my phone.

I MIGHT pick mine up this weekend as opposed to having it shipped. I finished e-mailing Tom last Saturday saying I didn't expect to be up that way anytime soon and within a couple hours I was one exit away from Parkside. Couldn't stop though. Now, I'm driving past this weekend and I might have to twist the arm of my travelling companion.

If I were that close, I'd pick mine up and save on shipping/handling/packing.

Yippeee do!!! Mine finally arrived ( they forgot me at first... ) and in good shape. Now I can be one of the gang

No spikes on aerangis, but nice and healthy. TC was a phal. schlleriana to replace one I lost - and she is strong and healthy too!!

Great idea as shipping and handling are a bit on the high side

One thing about the shipping is- I now have enough fiberfill to provide the whole neighborhood with knit catnip mice! That stuff isn't that cheap and I probably got a whole bag of it in my order. The box was almost as tall as me- it was probably 4 feet tall very well packaged-not a bud lost. And how do plants get from PA to Oregon so darn quickly?

I agree with you on the shipping, Steve, I figured it was gold plated, or something.
