Thanks for the update, Becca
There's no rush...I just need to know if anybody has decided to not go ahead

Becca - Eurychone rothschildiana is said to be a dwarf epiphyte
IOSPE PHOTOS
Orchid of the Week Library: Eurychone rothschildiana
It is the one I chose as a traveling companion because the flowers remind me of a cochleanthes with the (cinammon) fragrant bonus and additional small size
and I don't think anyone else has one
Just a suggestion to help you in your decision making
It's under the Misc/Others category

Thanks for the tip on where to find the invoice. I was expecting maybe $15 for shipping:

TWENTY TWO DOLLARS AND 55 CENTS???????

I know everyone has been pleasant about it but I am aghast at that cost to package and ship. I do not think I have ever paid that much to receive a plant no matter how large it was. Their ordering system does not even allow for previewing this ahead of time.

To top it off my doritis is pink not yellow as shown in the picture on the site (which is not even there any longer).

There, I said it.

Steve, contact them about the wrong plant being delivered. I'm sure they'll make it right

Hi guys and gals,

I'm about to order my plant from Parkside. I already talked to them over the weekend, just haven't gotten around to clicking "buy". Maybe I'm a little slow here but what is a TC plant? I'm thinking many of you just ordered additional stuff over and above the project plant. Is Parkside offeing some kind of discount on other plants when we order the aerangis? Just wondering....

Hi Brad

Most of ordered "traveling companions" for the project plant...the discount applies to the Aerangis rhodosticta only

Let us know when you get it...and if it arrives with spikes!

Hi Bradfo69--

The 15% discount is only on the project plant. Any TC (traveling companions) are at the regular price.

I have yet to order myself. Waiting on my next paycheck.
As far as I know, there are no discounts on traveling companions. Only on the Aerangis itself, if your orchid board name was given to the vendor before hand by Sue (CB977), Project Manager.
