Spring Project 2010?
Hello all, just wondering if we are planning of doing a project again this spring? I didn't participate in the previous project, but it looks like we followed the same format as before...should we dust off our thinking caps and see what we can come up with for the near future?
Adam

It's still way to early to be thinking about a project! We're still very much in the middle of winter here. From what I remember from past projects, for the spring one we didn't start the chats until early March!

We need something to look forward to during this dismal time...and March is right around the corner after all

If somebody wants to step up to the plate and organize a project, I'm willing to help...but I can't run them anymore. It's a lot of work that I can no longer do
Dave stepped up last time...anybody else willing?
Any project would have to be set up for a ship date no earlier than mid-April.
Keep in mind we are in the middle of our article-writing contest...let's give folks a chance to get those done before jumping into a bigger, more detailed project
Let me know what you guys and gals come up with

I was originally planning on jumping in and coordinating the next project, but this march is going to be already overly busy for me because of some big deadlines. If it starts in April to order in may, I should be free then, but nothing's sure yet!

We can work all of that out along the way...
Anybody who is considering doing this should keep in mind...it's a LOT of work! I'll be around to help, and many of our members are always willing to jump in and lend a hand : but still...
Please don't volunteer without really giving it some thought

I really wish I had time to volunteer, but just now I'm finding it hard to even read OB as much as I was at one time. My firm has just won some major new contracts and by the time I get home I'm too shattered to think about much.
I think I agree with Camille anyway, that waiting another month or two to start thinking about it would be best.

I'm not participating in the article contest and my summer project plant hates me so I'm ready to think about the spring project.
I can help with plant research when the time comes.
